This document explains what cookies are, how we may use them on DropToSolve, and what choices you have under EU data-protection rules (including GDPR) and common practices for online advertising.

1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser that helps a site remember preferences or technical information between visits (for example language, session state, or — with consent — identifiers used for advertising).

2. Strictly necessary cookies / local storage

We may use cookies or similar storage (such as localStorage or IndexedDB) where needed for basic site functions: remembering UI preferences (for example theme), Pomodoro alert preference, or temporary file handoff between pages on your device. These are used to run the product, not to sell your documents.

3. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

To keep DropToSolve free, we may display ads via Google AdSense (or equivalent). Those modules can set cookies and identifiers used for measurement, personalisation, or frequency capping. Where the law requires it (including the EEA/UK), we will ask for consent through a banner before enabling non-essential advertising technologies.

Choosing “necessary only” does not always mean zero ads — non-personalised or limited ads may still appear depending on Google Consent Mode and AdSense configuration at the time. Choosing “accept all” may include consent for personalised advertising where technically and legally allowed.

Google publishes information about how it processes data in its products. Our processing in relation to DropToSolve is also described in the Privacy Policy.

4. How to control cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If we show a consent banner, you can change your choice there when available. Blocking all cookies may affect some site features.
