Compress images for email and forms

Email providers and government or school forms often reject photos that are “too big.” Reshooting is rarely needed — a smaller export usually solves it.

A simple workflow

1. If the form asks for exact pixels, resize first (Resize Image).
2. Open Compress Image and lower quality until the file size fits.
3. Download and attach. Keep the original if you may need full quality later.

Quality vs size

Photos tolerate moderate JPG compression well. Screenshots with text may look better as PNG at a smaller resolution instead of heavy JPG artifacts. For many images in one packet, convert them to a PDF after compressing.
