Convert Audio

Switch between MP3, WAV, and OGG. A media engine loads from a CDN into your browser — your file never leaves this device.

Convert to

First run downloads a small media engine from a CDN into your browser (cached afterward). Your file never leaves this device.

How to convert audio to MP3, WAV, or OGG privately

Change audio formats in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm loaded from a CDN. The file is processed on your device — we never receive your recording.

How to use it

  1. Drop the audio file you want to convert.
  2. Choose MP3, WAV, or OGG.
  3. Wait for the media engine (first time only), then download the result.

When it helps

Useful when a platform requires MP3, you need uncompressed WAV for editing, or you prefer open OGG/Vorbis.

FAQ

What is the media engine?
A copy of ffmpeg.wasm downloaded from a public CDN into your browser and cached. Your audio is not uploaded to DropToSolve.
What if the engine fails to load?
Check your internet connection and try again. The engine downloads from a CDN on first use; a flaky network can interrupt that step.
Will quality drop?
WAV stays lossless. MP3 and OGG are compressed — we use sensible default quality settings suitable for voice and music clips.
Is there a size limit?
Only device memory. Large files are slower and may fail on phones; desktop browsers handle more.
Does it work offline after the first load?
If the engine is still cached by the browser, conversion can work without another download. Your files still never leave the device.
